MISSION STATEMENT

The Boyd Church of Christ exists to bring glory to God by encouraging each other to represent and share the good news of Jesus Christ with the world around us through love and good works.

Jesus gave his followers a clear mission to pursue: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.”

(Matthew 28:18-20)

He also told his followers that they should be doing good things so others will give thanks to God.

(Matthew 5:16)

The Boyd Church of Christ is striving to be faithful to this calling to be good representatives of God to each other and the world around us.
